See exactly how your client moves through your proposal
Proposal tracking is following what a client does after you send a proposal: when they open it, how long they read each section, on which device, and whether they come back. Proposal Expert records this automatically for every web link you share. Each view gets an engagement score from 0 to 100, built from reading time, scroll depth and return visits. You receive a notification on the first view and on every new visit, so you time your follow-up on data instead of on gut feeling.
As soon as you share the proposal via a web link, measurement starts. On every opening, Proposal Expert logs the time, the device and the reading time per section. Multiple readers at the same client are recorded separately, so you see who looked at the pricing section and who only read the summary. The proposal dashboard shows a timeline of visits and an engagement score from 0 to 100. Notifications arrive by email, and optionally via Slack or Teams.
You no longer follow up blind. If a client opened the proposal three times and spent five minutes on the pricing section, you know the conversation will be about budget. If they dropped off after the introduction, you know the core message did not land. A low score on the 0 to 100 scale is a signal to change your approach. Across several proposals you see which sections consistently get attention and which you can shorten.
Tracking measures behaviour in the browser, so if a client downloads the PDF and reads offline, you will not see it. An email client that prefetches links can register a view without anyone reading. Look at reading time per section and return visits, not opens alone. Mention in your privacy policy that you measure reading behaviour, because IP address and device data are personal data under the GDPR. Use the data to follow up better, not to pressure the client.
Open notifications are not enough. See which section got 5 minutes of attention, which got 3 seconds, and where they scrolled back.
