Tailored Salesforce integration for enterprise sales teams

The Salesforce integration for Proposal Expert links Opportunities, Accounts and Contacts in Salesforce to your proposals. Use it when your organisation runs on Salesforce and has strict requirements for authentication and data handling. The connection uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE and the Salesforce REST API, and tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed automatically. From an Opportunity you create a proposal with the account, contact, amount and OpportunityLineItems already filled in. Proposal Expert writes the status and proposal value back to the Opportunity so the Salesforce forecast stays accurate.

What the integration syncs

From Salesforce, Proposal Expert reads the Opportunity (name, Amount, Stage, CloseDate), the related Account and the Contacts with their roles. OpportunityLineItems become pricing rows in the proposal, including quantity and unit price. Back to Salesforce go the proposal status (sent, viewed, signed, declined) and the final proposal value. Custom fields on Opportunity and Account are handled through the field mapping. Production and sandbox orgs work side by side, so you can test in a sandbox first.

How to set it up

Sign in as an admin and go to Settings > Integrations > Salesforce. Click connect, log in to Salesforce and approve the access. Proposal Expert uses the PKCE flow, so no client secret ever sits in your browser. Then choose which Opportunity stages you work with and map the fields to proposal fields. For the writeback, pick which Stage each proposal status should set. The whole setup takes about fifteen minutes.

What it changes day to day

A team of eight account executives wrote proposals in Word and then updated Amount and Stage in Salesforce by hand. A sales ops colleague spent part of every week reconciling proposals against the pipeline. With the integration, every proposal starts from the Opportunity with the right line items and contact. On signature, Proposal Expert sets the Stage to Closed Won and the Amount to the signed value. The weekly reconciliation disappears and the forecast comes straight from signed proposals.

Proposal Expert connects via the REST API + SOQL and OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Suitable for teams with strict security requirements.

Enterprise B2B sales teams with Salesforce as their core CRM, where security and field flexibility are crucial.
