Exact Online connection for Dutch SMEs
The Exact Online integration for Proposal Expert will link accounts, contacts and items in Exact Online to your proposals. It is in development and not yet available. You will use it when your Dutch business runs its administration in Exact Online and wants to create quotes with the client details, items and prices from Exact already filled in. After signature, Proposal Expert will write the status and the signed amount back so follow-up in Exact can start straight away. Until then, use the CSV import or the API.
The integration will read accounts (company name, address, VAT number), contacts and items with their sales price and VAT code. Items will become pricing rows in the proposal, so you manage prices in one place. Back to Exact Online go the proposal status and the signed amount, linked to the account. Authentication runs through the OAuth 2.0 flow of Exact Online. Opportunities from the CRM module of Exact can be linked to proposals when you use that module.
When the integration goes live, you will connect Exact Online from Settings > Integrations and choose the division and fields. You can start today: export accounts and items from Exact Online as CSV and import them into Proposal Expert, or create proposals through the Proposal Expert API. Sign up for early access on the contact page and we will tell you when you can test it. We will only announce a release date once it is fixed.
An installation company on Exact Online retypes client details and item prices into a quote template, and outdated prices slip in. After signature the quote is copied into Exact by hand. With the integration you pick the account and the items from Exact, prices and VAT are right, and the signed quote is kept with its audit trail. Admin sees the status without asking. Until release, the CSV import already delivers a large part of that time saving.
